The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of northwest Iowa until 4:00am. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving east out of the Dakotas and Nebraska tonight. These storms are capable of producing large hail, strong damaging wind gusts and heavy rains.
You can see in the graphic counties shaded in purple are affected by this Severe Thunderstorm Watch. The southern half of Iowa should not be affected by this line of storms.
