WXALERT: Tornado Watch Until 9:00 PM

torwatchThe Storm Prediction Center in Norman, OK has posted a tornado watch that includes 11 counties in southwest Iowa.  Rapid thunderstorm development is expected near the center of a low pressure system and to points east along a warm front just south og the Iowa-Missouri border.

TORNADOES…HAIL TO 4 INCHES IN DIAMETER…THUNDERSTORM WIND
GUSTS TO 80 MPH…AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 65 STATUTE
