Le Mars, IA – Strong wind gusts Sunday night snapped trees and power poles, leaving thousands of residents in the dark across Nebraska and northwest Iowa. In Le Mars, Iowa, a wind gust over 70-mph tore off a roof to a local business, causing the rubble to lie in the street.

Shortly after the damage occurred, local resident Emily Hutchins filmed this video of the aftermath.
