Iowa Wind Chills Thursday

The first arctic air mass of the season will spread across the region Tuesday as a cold front will be passing through the region, bringing with it cooler air that will hold high temperatures in the 20’s to 30’s on Tuesday. Each day this week will be colder than the previous one, and by Thursday, highs will struggle to reach 20 degrees.

Winds will be on the stronger side, blowing from the west to northwest at 15 to 20-mph most of this week. When you combine the expected air temperature with wind speeds, wind chill values will be in the teens to single digits for Tuesday and Wednesday, possibly dropping below zero for some by Thursday into Friday.

If you haven’t gotten that winter coat, hat, and gloves out for you and the family, now is the time to do so

Come on we need warm weather please get better weather by next week as I have a serious doctor appointment next Tuesday and don’t want to be freezing cold and get stranded out on interstate 80 to getting to and back from my appointment and rescheduling is not an option will just have to go to the emergency room st the hospital
