Widespread Dense Fog During AM Commute

Widespread dense fog and patchy drizzle will continue through the morning hours affecting the morning rush hour. Visibility has already been reduced to less than one quarter of a mile in several locations and is forecast to persist during much of the morning. A very moist and unseasonably warm air mass over a snow pack has lead to significant fog development during the overnight hours.

A dense fog advisory will be in effect until noon today. Widespread dense fog and patch drizzle will cause one quarter mile or less visibility this morning. A significant travel hindrance through the morning rush hour, especially prior to sunrise.

A densefog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
