Storms are rapidly developing along a cold front in Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota. These storms are expected to trickle into northern parts of Iowa, especially northwest Iowa later tonight. All modes of severe weather are possible tonight but the primary threat will come from strong damaging winds. Showers and thunderstorms will move across the state as we move into the morning hours with the threat of an isolated strong storm or two.
