After trying to get ahead of a tornado producing storm, I made it out towards the leading edge. I could tell by the clouds that the energy was shifting to the front of the storm. Once I got east of the cell, that prediction was confirmed. As the storm began to bow out, a large shelf cloud developed near Adair. IA.
