Tornado Cripples Hospital, School in Creston

Untitled

Several homes are damaged and a hospital and community college are knocked out of commission in the Union County town of Creston.  The tornado struck early Saturday Night.  Some minor injuries were reported, but after a search of affected areas, once again, no deaths reported.

This is the best news in a terrible situation.  The work now begins to clean up the town and return to normal.  Crews are working to restore power and work is already underway to clean up the hospital so that patients can return.

Overall some substantial damage in Iowa from this tornado outbreak.  Remember if you have pictures of the damage, send them to us at [email protected]
