Severe weather prospects here in Iowa so far this year have been, with the exception of one week, slim pickings. So, storm chaser Ben McMillan is hitting the road, a very long road. The plan is to head to North Dakota on Tuesday to track the potential of tornadoes. A storm center and a warm front will set up shop over this area, providing a focal point for severe thunderstorm development.
It’s a long journey, but the Dakotas are known to be a relatively pleasant place for storm chasers to travel. We will monitor the latest developments for this area and urge you to share our links with people living in this area. Ben will have live video from the field on Tuesday afternoon and evening and storms begin to develop over portions of North Dakota.
