By the end of this week, it is going to feel more like spring than winter! Temperatures will be on a warming trend as we head into the weekend. Highs today will be in the 30’s, which will seem chilly compared to our forecasted highs on Friday.

Highs on Thursday will be in the 40’s and 50’s across the state, with a gusty wind out of the southeast, gusting up to 25mph. Highs on Friday will be even warmer with highs in the 50’s and 60’s across the state! A few of these temperatures will be coming close to record breaking, but the last time we saw temperatures this warm was back in mid November.

Winds on Friday will be sustained out of the west at 20 to 30-mph with gusts up near 40-mph. Saturday will be a few degrees cooler, but highs will still be in the 40’s and 50’s. It will not be until Monday that our highs return back to seasonal averages. Moral of the story, get outside starting tomorrow and enjoy the mini heat wave. It will be a great time to get your car to the car wash and wash off some of that salt!
