A slight risk of severe weather has been issued by the Storm Prediction Center across western Iowa, as a line of storms is expected to move into the state later this evening. This slight risk was issued due to the possibility of a few strong to severe storms, producing mainly damaging wind gust.
This line of storms is expected to enter the state after 6pm, and will continue to push off to the east through the early evening. Storms will arrive along the I-35 corridor by 10pm and into eastern Iowa after midnight.
