All eyes will be on the weather across the Gulf Coast today as severe thunderstorms are expected later today and tonight. Locations with the greatest risks include southern Alabama, southern Mississippi, southern Louisiana, and the western Florida panhandle.

Hazards includes, several tornadoes, a few strong and long lived, widespread damaging winds, and isolated large hail.

Severe thunderstorms capable of damaging winds and tornadoes will be likely over portions of the Gulf Coast states Tuesday. A few tornadoes may be strong, especially Tuesday afternoon and into Tuesday night.
