Thunderstorms now over central and southern Minnesota, will move southeast this evening into northern Iowa. This extensive line of storms will contain bowing segments and supercells capable of swaths of damaging wind and severe hail, in addition to a couple brief tornadoes, through late tonight.
Primary threats include, widespread damaging winds likely, with isolated significant gusts to 80-mph possible. Scattered large hail likely with isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible.
