Severe Threat Over For Eastern Iowa

With strong to severe thunderstorms now well into Illinois, the threat of severe weather in Iowa is over. Strong winds are signaling our shift to a much colder weather pattern for the next few days.

We continue to monitor a storm system set to affect Iowa on Wednesday and Thanksgiving morning. So far our current thinking remains the same with most of Iowa seeing rain followed by brief snow showers with little to no accumulation. We will post more later tonight when the latest model runs come in.
