Severe Storms Thursday Afternoon

Strong to severe storms will be possible later this afternoon. Overnight storms and cloud cover is moving east out of the state into Illinois, which is resulting in heating across eastern Iowa. Scattered thunderstorms will develop after 4pm, and will track to the southeast this evening. If any storms do go severe, the main risk would be large hail and possibly an isolated damaging wind threat.

Check back to the Iowa Storm Chasing Network for the very latest developments.
