The week ahead will be seasonal, with only a couple of chances of rain. Sunday through Tuesday will be quiet with highs in the 50’s and 60’s. Average highs for this time of year range from the upper 50’s to low 60’s, so this is right where we are suppose to be. By Tuesday afternoon, rain will begin to work into the state, as the remnants of hurricane Patricia move closer to the state. Rainfall totals will range from 0.10″ to 0.75″, with the greatest rainfall totals occurring across eastern Iowa.
By Wednesday afternoon, we will begin dry out before our next chance of rain which will occur late Friday night. This rainfall on Friday night appears to be light, and still somewhat questionable so this is something that we will keep an eye on. By next weekend, temperatures will begin to warm back up into the mid to upper 50’s.
