Scattered Severe Storms Tuesday

Scattered strong to severe storms are expected to develop across the state this evening along a warm front. Most of the afternoon will be dry and sunny across the state. The cap will be strong enough that storms will hold off until after 7pm this evening. Any storms that do become severe will have the potential to produce large hail and damaging gusts.

The larger threat will come on Wednesday, and this may affect portions of eastern Iowa. Details on that threat will be released later this afternoon. Continue to check back to for the latest developments.
