Light snow continues to push out of the state this evening. Road conditions are in poor shape where the snow has fallen this evening. As of 10pm, the worst of the roads are across central and southern Iowa. This is where roads are mostly covered in snow (pink). The remainder of the roads where the snow has fallen this evening are partially covered in snow (blue). The Iowa DOT is out treating the roads, so heading off to work or school in the morning should be in much better shape.

The next chance of snow will then move through the state Saturday night into Sunday. Snowfall totals will be on the lighter side. The models are only showing a swath of 2″ to 3″ as of now. Continue to check back to for the latest information.
