Quiet Today, More Tomorrow

Iowa Severe Weather Outlook

After strong to severe storms moved through the state last night, we will get a break in the rain before another round will move through the state Wednesday afternoon. Clouds will continue to be on the decrease across the state this afternoon. Already this morning, the sun has returned across central and western Iowa, and highs will be warming into the 80’s.

More severe weather will be on store for Wednesday. Storms will be developing ahead of another weak front across northwest Iowa midday Wednesday.  These storms will quickly line out as they push off to the east/southeast, creating for another damaging wind threat, with hail as a secondary threat.
