Iowa Snowfall Forecast

Iowa Snowfall ForecastThe snow will begin to fall later on this evening, and as it does, it will be accumulating. Snow will be working into western Iowa after 8pm and will continue to push off to the east/southeast. It will then reach central Iowa after midnight and will then enter into eastern Iowa around 4am Wednesday. The snow will be sticking around for much of the day Wednesday. After all said and done, 2″ to 4″ of snow will be likely across central Iowa with lighter amounts to the east and west.

Iowa Wind GustsWind gusts will be on the stronger side Wednesday afternoon, so some minor blowing snow will be possible. If you are traveling on Wednesday, you will want to check the very latest road conditions at 511ia.org. Thanksgiving will be dry, however, it will be cold with highs in the 20’s. By Friday, the warmer weather will return and will stick around through the weekend.
