So the weather pattern has been especially active this April. But unlike previous years, the weather pattern has barely shifted out of winter mode. Most days are above freezing, but most storms continue to filter down cold air. With Iowa remaining on the back or northwest side of most systems, that still means snow. Such is the case for this Sunday, when several inches are possible across eastern Iowa. Not the most ideal situation right now. But there are growing indications the pattern is preparing to shift, but not for another two weeks.
