The National Weather Service has posted a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning in central Iowa as a new storm threatens to drop 1.00” diameter hail. AT 459 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF CRESTON...OR 55 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DES MOINES... AND MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.
