NWS To Survey Damage in South Dakota

Tornado Damage

Overnight, strong to severe storms moved across Nebraska, South Dakota, and evening into portions of northwest Iowa. One of the hardest hit locations was Springfield, South Dakota. That is where a few residents sustained major structural damage. It is yet unknown if this was caused by a tornado, but the National Weather Service is there now surveying the damage. We will bring you the latest findings as soon as we receive them.
