Temperatures were slightly cooler today than those of yesterday. Temperatures will continue to cool in Wednesday, before temperatures really begin to warm by the end of the week.
By Friday temperatures will be into the 60’s across much of the state, with the mid to upper 60’s expected across southwest Iowa. These temperatures are near record highs. It does not appear that records will be broken at this time, but a few may come close.
Temperatures will continue to stay into the 50’s and 60’s over the weekend. The next chance for precipitation will come on Monday, when heavy rain and thunderstorms appear possible.
