Moderate to Heavy Snow Likely

We have been talking about this storm for a few days now, and it is finally here. This storm will bring  snow accumulations of 2”-4” in central Iowa, with heavier snowfall amounts in Northeast Iowa where 6”-9” is expected. Along with the moderate to heavy snowfall, this storm will also usher in strong North winds. Winds will be sustained from 15-25 mph but gusts will reach 35 mph at times. The combination of the moderate to heavy snowfall, and the gusty winds will reduce visibilities to below a half mile at times, creating for a messy morning commute. Iowa Chase Network’s own Ben McMillan and Andrew Cooper will be streaming live starting tomorrow at 6:30am and will continue through the morning commute. Stay tuned to for more updates.
