Look At What The Cat Dragged In

GFS Model Forecast for Monday March 10th

It’s about time that we have some warmer news for you all! Taking a look at the forecast this evening, Monday is looking like it will be setting up to be a wonderful one! ISCN forecaster Nathan Coy told me this evening, “I will literally wear shorts if this happens.”

Thursday will be an average temperature day wise as temps will be in the lower 40s across the south and west with the lower 30s across the north and east. Friday will be similar, however, a cold front will start to move through the state bringing a chance of rain first then transition to snow after the front passes. We are not expecting an major accumulations from this… famous last words. On a side note, winter weather is so unpredictable, and it is starting to become very old. Saturday will be cooler since the cold front will bring temperatures down 10 degrees. This cool down will not last long as Sunday will warm right back up to where we were on Friday. Then comes Monday. Lets hope temperatures end up like the model is showing above. Until then, keep wishing for warmer weather, and just maybe, we will finally end up with some.
