Light Wintry Mix Expected Tonight

A light mix of snow, sleet, or freezing rain may occur tonight into Tuesday morning. The greatest potential will be north of highway 30 between 9 PM tonight and 3 AM Tuesday.

Ice accumulations will be minor, but might be enough to cause slippery roads. Snow accumulations across northern Iowa will also light, generally less than an inch.

Further to the south, across southeast Iowa, temperatures will warm through the evening, which will make for the possibility of fog, and some light rain/drizzle.

If anything changes overnight, continue to follow for the latest updates.
