The potential for light snow will exist Saturday night into Sunday, mainly for the southeast Iowa. Light precipitation will begin across southern Iowa after 8pm Saturday. Moisture will continue to increase across southeast Iowa near sunrise Sunday.
Temperatures will be near to slightly above freezing, which will limit snowfall accumulation. At this time, snowfall accumulations will be the greatest across southeast Iowa. Most of the accumulations will be less than an inch in grassy areas. Due to the rising surface temperatures Sunday morning, no travel impacts are expected.
