Light Snow Expected Thursday Night Into Friday

We are now watching a system that will bring a quick glance of snow across northern Iowa, north of interstate 80. This quick moving system will have the potential to bring one to two inches of snow.

Light precip. will enter from the west late Thursday into early Friday morning. There will be periods of more enhanced snow during the morning Friday, which will cause the snow to quickly add up.

Temperatures will warm above freezing over the weekend, which will melt this snow off, and help improve road conditions. A much bigger storm system moves into the area by Christmas day.
