Light Snow Expected Across Northern Iowa Thanksgiving Evening

The clouds will hang around into Thanksgiving, however, another system will be reaching the state later in the day, which will bring a chance of rain and snow. The precipitation will initially be mainly light rain, and remain that way across the southern half of the state, but it should switch to light snow north of highway 30 Thanksgiving night. The snow will not last long, and will melt somewhat as well, so any snowfall amounts should be less than an inch, and mainly on vegetation.
