Late Week Snow?

Iowa Snowfall Forecast

We continue to keep an eye on the forecast as man of you will be traveling this week for the Thanksgiving holiday. The weather will continue to remain quiet through Wednesday, but by Wednesday evening, rain will begin to work into the state. The issues will no arise until Thursday as a cold front will be moving southeast across the state during the day. This will transition the rain over to snow. The greatest snowfall potential will be across northwest Iowa.

There still remains some uncertainty, with when the rain will transition over to snow. Depending on when this transition occurs, will have an impact on snowfall totals. For now, up to a couple of inches appears to be possible across northwest Iowa.

If you will be traveling during the day Thursday or even into Friday morning, you will want to closely monitor the weather. We will continue to provide all of the latest updates right here at iowachase.com and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
