As we brace ourselves for more wintry weather in the Midwest, there is one part of the country experiencing spring weather conditions. We have to head all the way down to Florida where strong to severe thunderstorms are occurring. Primary threats from these storms today are strong, damaging winds and large hail.
The threat for this region is expected to persist for several hours. As for us, winter is still here. And at this time there’s no end in sight as below normal temperatures are expected to persist for a while still.
At some point this will all come to an end. Before we know it the threat of thunderstorms and tornadoes will return. I guess the central United States will just have to remain patient for some sunshine that really does something.
