It Could Be Worse

Snowfall records

Happy Friday! You have officially made it to the end of the work week! Temperatures today are in the 50’s, which is where we should be at for this time of year. Having temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s in November is uncommon. If you are complaining that today is too cold for you, we just wanted to let you know it could be worse.

Two of the last three years, snow occurred on this 11th day of November. In 2014, there was 0.3″ of snow, and in 2013, there was 0.4″ of snow in Des Moines. Last year, the snow waited another week. Looking at the long range models, it appears the snow will wait until after Thanksgiving.

The snow will begin to fly before you know it, so get outdoors and enjoy this fall like weather!
