Is This December?

Iowa seven day forecast

Unseasonable like weather will be with us as we head into this week. Highs will range from the 40’s and 50’s. These temperatures will be 10 to 20-degrees above normal. The week ahead will remain dry with the exception of a few light showers on Tuesday afternoon. Next best chance of precipitation will be next weekend.

3-day Forecast:

Monday: Highs will range from the low 40’s, to low 50’s across the state. Fog will be possible early on Monday. Winds will be increasing during the day, with wind gusts near 25mph to 30mph.

Tuesday: Temperatures on Tuesday will continue to increase as highs will range from the mid 40’s across the north to the mid 50’s across the south. A few very light showers may be possible during the afternoon.

Wednesday: Temperatures will be a carbon copy of those on Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s statewide.

Looking ahead to the long range, temperatures will begin to cool back down near average as we head into next weekend. For those of you who are looking for the snow, their may be a chance mid-week next week. It’s only a tease right now, but something we will watch for the potential of a white Christmas.
