Iowa Storm Chasers Head South

Storm ChasersOver the past week, we have been keeping our eye on a large storm system that could kick off the 2013 storm chasing season. A storm system setting up shop across the Great Plains looks to do just that.  Iowa Storm Chasing Network’s team of storm chasers is targeting the Oklahoma – Kansas border Sunday for supercell development.  Monday, we’ll move further north into Kansas and Monday, we may find ourselves somewhere in Kansas or even southwest Iowa.  As of now there are many factors to keep an eye on for Tuesday’s chase in Southwest Iowa, but if things line up correctly, then there could be a potential for severe storms. Stay tuned to Iowachase.com as we will bring you live coverage right here, starting Sunday Afternoon at 3pm.
