As if mother nature didn’t already know, winter started with a tease, a tease of what we’ll lose over the next three to four months… warmth. After a day with temperatures near 60, eastern Iowa is now experiencing highs close to the freezing mark. If you think this is a sign of things to come, you’re absolutely right.
Currently long range models are indicating a strong winter storm system could makes its way into the Upper Midwest sometime next week. The exact track and precipitation site remain up in the air but the threat of measurable snowfall remains there.
Look for updates in the days to come as the threat for winter weather draws closer.
