Heavy snow is starting to look more and more likely by Monday. The question still remains as to where the heaviest snow will fall. Current thinking still supports northwest and west central Iowa.
A freezing rain/snow mix will begin across southwest Iowa, with all snow across west central and northwest Iowa late Sunday evening. Some light freezing rain accumulations up to 0.2″ be possible across southwest Iowa.
The heaviest of the snow will fall across northern and western Iowa during the day Monday. This is where snowfall totals could be over 4″ with some areas across northwest Iowa, over 6″ to 8″. These totals are subject to change in the coming days, so continue to check back for the latest updates.
