Enhanced Risk of Severe Storms Shifts South

Due to this mornings storms across northern Iowa, the severe weather outlook has been adjusted further south, now impacting much of central and eastern Iowa.

A line of storms is expected to develop across northern Iowa after 5pm this evening, and will track to the southeast along a stationary front. This will pose a widespread damaging wind threat, but an isolated tornado threat does exist.
