A line of storms continues to track rapidly east-southeastward across eastern South Dakota this morning, posing a risk of damaging winds and hail. This line of storms will likely continue through much of the day and track across southern Minnesota into northern Iowa.
Damaging wind gusts in excess of 70-mph, half dollar sized hail and isolated tornadoes may occur. In addition, locally heavy rainfall is possible. Additional storms are possible over northern Iowa Thursday night through Friday night with the chances gradually settling south into central Iowa.
