The National Weather Service has rated the two tornadoes that formed Saturday afternoon across eastern Iowa. The first tornado moved across the southwest portion of Lake Delhi, resulting in downed trees along the shoreline. This tornado was rated an EF-0, with peak winds of 80-mph.
A second tornado developed north/northwest of Worthington, Iowa. This tornado damaged crops and blew off the roofing material of several farm outbuildings. It was rated an EF-0 as well, with peak winds of 70-mph.
