Dense Fog Through This Evening

Areas of dense fog have developed across southern and eastern Iowa. This dense fog is expected to continue through the overnight hours, with fog lingering into Tuesday morning across eastern Iowa.

Visibilities will be below a quarter of a mile, and near zero at times. Driving will be hazardous when visibility falls rapidly. Please allow extra time for travel and drive with caution.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
