Dense Fog Advisory Issued Through 10am This Morning

A dense fog advisory has been issued through 10am this morning. Expect visibilities to remain below one half mile with widespread one quarter mile visibilities through mid morning. Visibilities will begin to improve by mid to late morning.

Low visibilities in dense fog will make for limited sight distance and hazardous travel. Also, many locations are at or below freezing and the dense fog may leave a layer of glaze on roadways since they are untreated. This may make for slick roads during the morning commute. Drive carefully.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
