DENSE FOG ADVISORY 1/3/2016

Iowa Dense Fog Advisory

Dense fog reducing visibilities to less than one half mile have developed across parts of the region. The fog is expected to continue through the overnight hours, dissipating during the morning on Monday.

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 9am Monday. Dense fog will cause the visibility to fall below a quarter mile at times through Monday morning.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
