Areas of Frost Tonight

Mainly clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to drop into the 30’s tonight. Some very localized areas have potential to see temperatures around 30 degrees or colder. Areas of frost are expected along and north of highway 30, but patchy frost can be expected as far south as a Sigourney, Iowa to Peru, Illinois line.

A frost advisory will be in effect from 1am to 8am Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to bottom out in the mid to low 30’s. Some localized areas of 30 degrees or colder are possible.

Sensitive plans and flower fruit trees could be damaged by frost. Cover or move sensitive plants indoors.
