Just like the past few nights, tonight will pose another severe weather threat across northern and northeast Iowa. An enhanced risk for severe weather exists today for much of Minnesota and into northeast Iowa. A slight risk extends south towards Interstate 80.
The best chance for severe weather will arrive this evening. Damaging wind gusts in excess of 60-mph will be the primary threat. Large hail and isolated tornadoes will also be possible. Stay tuned to future updates regarding the severe weather potential. In addition, very hot and humid conditions will persist today.
