After a wild week in the weather department, going from a blizzard nearly a week ago, to a tornado yesterday, more snow is back in the forecast for Thursday morning. A quick moving shortwave will provide the chance for a quick couple of inches of snow.
Quick accumulations of around 2 inches are expected with the band of snow/snow showers, and the snow may fall intensely at times. This could lead to reduced visibilities and slick roadways. Also added into the mix is the possibility of strong winds associated with this system, which could cause blowing snow issues and enhance the reduced visibilities.
A winter weather advisory may become necessary for Thursday morning.
