Above Average Into November

6 to 10 day temperature outlook well above normal for Iowa

On this last day in October, mother nature is giving us a real treat as we head into November. Temperatures in the state over the next 6 to 10 days will be above average. Not only are temperatures expected to be average in Iowa, but are forecasted to be above average nation wide.

When it comes to precipitation chances over the next 6 to 10 days, this may also be considered a treat to those farmers who are still harvesting their crops. There is a 50% probability of below average precipitation. While this does not mean there will be no precipitation chances over the next 10 days, this simply means there will be very little rain.

These above average temperatures and below average precipitation appears to continue into the 8 to 14 day outlook. If you are enjoying these above average temperatures, get out and enjoy them, as winter will be around the corner.
