If you have been enjoying this weather, its not going to quit anytime soon. The Climate Prediction Center has placed Iowa in a 70% probability of above average temperatures in the next six to ten days. The average high for this time of year ranges from the mid 40’s across northern Iowa to the mid 50’s across southern Iowa.
In the precipitation department, there appears to be no shortage of rain. The Climate Prediction Center has Iowa in the average precipitation probability.
Looking at the long range models, things appear to cool down right before Thanksgiving, and even appears there may be a snow chance. This is a long ways out, but the warm weather will not last forever, so enjoy it while you can!
