Well the good news is that we are only 26 days away from the official start of spring, but it sure won’t feel that way after this week. There is a chance of light snow on Monday and we are expecting light accumulations from this. The best potential for accumulating snow will be north of interstate 80. This is where 1 to 2.5 inches of snow will accumulate. After the snow moves out Monday night, temperatures will continue to fall off the charts, and winter will make its return. Waking up Wednesday morning, temperatures will range from 0 to as low as -12. Factor the wind on top of this and wind chills will feel as cold as -10 to -35 degrees. Temperatures will remain freezing through the end of the work week.
