As of 10am Monday, travel across northern Iowa still proves to be difficult. Winds are gusting over 40mph, with a few gusts near 50mph. This combined with the light snow that continues to fall this morning, is leading to whiteout conditions. As shown in the map above, the red roads are impassible, with the purple roads being travel not advised. The light blue roads are partially covered in snow, and the pink being completely covered.
